About the course

Envision yourself as an electrical and electronic engineer. Our HND covers multiple aspects of engineering, ensuring you gain the skills and experience needed to meet employer demands. You will acquire academic knowledge as well as practical engineering skills and specialist industry insight. You will explore a range of topics from lean manufacturing to electronic circuits as you acquire core engineering knowledge and develop specialist skills such as programming PLCs. You’ll also widen your understanding of current topics such as renewable energy and efficiency measures. We emphasise work experience and take pride in our practical opportunities. If you are not already in employment we will support you with finding your work placement, with the end goal of you moving into relevant employment after studying.
