This practitioner-focused programme is designed specifically to allow you to develop your film and screen visual storytelling techniques, pushing your practice to meet the ever-evolving high professional standards.

Prepare for a career in the film and media industries. You will look beyond the traditional routes into the industry and will develop your own visual style, leading to a range of career options post-graduation. You will focus on your personal responses to moving image narratives while developing a flexible approach to film and screen media careers.

The three strands of the course are filmmaking, motion design/visual effects, and screen practices. You will be supported as you progress down a strand linked to your career goals, while being encouraged to experiment with other aspects of film and screen media. You will push your practice forwards in a creative and professional manner.

You will explore motion graphics and digital effects, 360° camera narrative workflow, film and moving image techniques, and more. Additionally, you will develop enterprise and employability skills to support your transition into the industry. You will be continually challenged and supported as you explore your own unique style of visual language creation.
