Clearing 2026: Join University Centre Leeds this September

Clearing is the process that allows you to apply for a university place after the main UCAS application deadline. It's a great option if you've changed your mind about where you want to study, haven't applied yet, or didn't get the results you were expecting. If you're looking to start your degree this September, Clearing could be the perfect route for you. Before you apply, speak to our Admissions team. They'll discuss your qualifications, check whether you meet the entry requirements and, if you're eligible, make you a verbal offer and talk you through the next steps.

You can apply through Clearing if:

• You haven't applied through UCAS this year. 
• You didn't receive any offers. 
• You've declined your offers or decided not to accept your place. 
• You didn't meet the conditions of your offer. 
• You're applying after 30 June for September entry.

A wide range of undergraduate courses are available through Clearing across subjects including Business, Computing, Creative Arts, Education, Health, Science and more. Course availability can change throughout the Clearing period, so we recommend checking our course search or contacting our Admissions team for the latest information.

Applying is simple. Search for your chosen course, then contact our Admissions team by phone or email. They'll talk you through your options, check your eligibility and guide you through the next steps. You can also book a one-to-one Application Support Session if you'd like help with your application.

That's absolutely fine. If you haven't submitted a UCAS application yet, you can still apply through Clearing. Our Admissions team will explain what you need to do and support you through the application process.
