What to expect?

Come and explore our brand-new Mabgate Campus located in the bustling city centre, complete with industry-standard facilities and modern learning spaces. You can attend subject talks and have an informal one-to-one chat with our friendly academic staff to learn more about your course of interest.

Our Student Services and Admissions teams will also be on hand throughout the event to answer questions about student finance, wellbeing, accommodation and more.

Already applied for 2026? We're holding a special session just for our current applicants and offer holders where you can meet tutors and your potential future uni-mates!

Registration

You will be sent a QR code to sign in with on the day. However, you are also welcome to register upon arrival if needed.

Registration will take place at the main entrance to the Mabgate Campus and will open from 4:30am, with the event closing at 7:00pm

Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome bag and a wristband to wear.

More details about the timetable for the event will be sent to you ahead of the event.

What talks can I attend?

Welcome Talks (4:45 pm and 5:45 pm)

Kick off your visit with one of our Welcome Talks to discover more about life at University Centre Leeds and what makes us unique. We offer two sessions - please choose the time that’s most convenient for you:

Welcome Talk 1: 4:45 pm
Welcome Talk 2: 5:45 pm

Applicant and Offer Holder Session (4:45 pm only) 

If you've already applied or received an offer to study at University Centre Leeds for 2026 entry, please join us for an exclusive session including your potential future tutors and uni-mates!

Course Talks (5:30 and 6:15 pm)

Join one of our subject-specific talks covering areas from Creative Arts to Sciences, including:

How to get here

Our brand-new Mabgate Campus is within walking distance of Leeds city centre bus and train stations. We recommend arriving by public transport if possible.

Parking

University Centre Leeds does not have a car park and unfortunately, there is no disabled parking available on Mabgate.

The nearest disabled parking is on Macaulay Street, adjacent to Mabgate.

For further information on disabled parking in Leeds, visit the Leeds City Council website.

There are a small number of 4-hour parking bays situated along Mabgate itself. There is also limited on-street meter parking in some nearby streets.

The Victoria Leeds multi-storey car park and NCP The Markets multi-storey car park are both approximately a 5-10 minute walk from our Mabgate Campus.

Additional Information

  • Most sessions are held at our Mabgate Campus, but some talks will take place in our Creative Arts space, located in a separate building on Mabgate, which offers lift and step-free access throughout.

    There may also be an optional tour of Quarry Hill for those interested in Performing Arts and Production Arts. Quarry Hill is a ten-minute walk from the Mabgate Campus, and all crossings are wheelchair accessible. Our staff are happy to go at whatever pace suits you.

  • All talk venues include seating and can accommodate wheelchairs or mobility aids.

  • Prayer rooms are available throughout the event for anyone who wishes to use them

If you have any questions before the event or would like to discuss your specific access needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our team will also be on hand throughout the day to offer support wherever needed.
