For the seventh year running, with an average satisfaction rate of 91.2%, University Centre Leeds is revealed as the highest ranked higher education provider within the city for student satisfaction. This follows the Office for Students’ release of the 2026 National Student Survey (NSS) results.
In comparison with other higher education providers in Leeds, University Centre Leeds ranks first across six out of seven categories, with scores surpassing 90 per cent for academic support (95.6%), teaching (94.1%), learning opportunities (92.3%), and assessment and feedback (92.2%).
Becky Fores, Dean of Higher Education at University Centre Leeds, said: “I’m so proud we have maintained such high levels of student satisfaction. The survey findings show that our delivery and support we provide for students is positive and provides them with the key skills and attributes required for their personal development.
“We place our students at the heart of everything we do and for them to acknowledge this is special. Being ranked again as the top higher education provider in Leeds for student satisfaction demonstrates our commitment to learner success.”
University Centre Leeds moved into a brand-new building, part of a £27m development, at the start of this academic year to enhance the student experience and enable the institution to deliver high-quality education and training to industry standards, that responds to local and national skills needs.

This year’s National Student Survey collected feedback from over 360,000 final-year undergraduate students across the UK. Eligible students were invited to share their views on themes including academic support, teaching and assessments, and the wider student experience.
The feedback will help inform the choices of prospective learners when it comes to picking their HE destination, while also providing HE institutions with valuable insights to support improvement.
