UCAS EXTRA IS OPEN
If youâve used all five of your UCAS choices and received decisions from all of them, but youâre not holding any offers (either because you werenât successful or you declined them), you still have another opportunity.
For 2026 entry, UCAS Extra is open from 26 February to 1 July 2026 and allows you to add one more choice to your application.
Keep in mind that once you add a choice through Extra, you canât change your mind or go back to your original five choices - so make sure youâre happy with your decision before adding it.
If you haven't started your application, or used all your 5 choices, you do not need to use UCAS Extra. You can complete your application at any time before enrolment in September by visiting our How to Apply page.
