April Newsletter

Here's your April monthly recap: From visiting the Cumbria Badger Vaccination Project to the BA (Hons) Acting showcase, our community has had a month to remember! Here is a look at some of the amazing things we got up to in April.

ANIMAL MANAGEMENT CUMBRIA TRIP

Over the Easter break, our Level 4 Animal Management students took their learning outside the classroom and visited the Cumbria Badger Vaccination Project.

On the residential trip, students learnt about the essential work conservationists are doing to tackle bovine TB and protect badgers from cruelty. They also observed these animals’ natural behaviours from the RSPB badger hide.

THE MALADIES BY BA (HONS) ACTING

Be transported to Renaissance Europe, where a mysterious dancing plague grips a community in chaos.

We are pleased to present The Maladies, directed by Aimee Shields, and performed by our BA (Hons) Acting students. This poetic drama is the culmination of our students’ final year of training at University Centre Leeds.
