Entry Requirements

If you’re looking to join us at University Centre Leeds from Pakistan, the academic entry requirements you need to meet will depend on the course you want to study. The information provided below is intended as guidance only. Certain courses may have specific subject requirements and each application will be considered individually.

Undergraduate study

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on to a full-time Foundation degree:

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is not suitable for entry

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on to a full-time undergraduate degree:

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is not suitable for entry
  • Associate Degree

 

Postgraduate study

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry on to a full-time postgraduate degree:

  • Bachelor degree (studied for a minimum of 4 years)

 

English Language requirements

All applicants will be required to sit a Secure English Language Test (SELT) from a UKVI approved provider. These tests are valid for 2 years. Acceptable tests and the minimum scores required for entry are:

  • IELTS for UKVI – overall score of 6.0 with no sub-test below 5.5
  • Pearson PTE Academic UKVI – overall score of 60 with no sub-test below 59
  • LanguageCert Academic SELT – overall score of 65 with no sub-test below 60
