Our Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship provides a practical route into the profession, allowing you to learn while in the role. Apprentices work in real HR environments, gaining valuable insights into areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy. Alongside on-the-job training, you'll complete academic modules that deepen your understanding of HR theory and practice. This blended approach to learning and practical experience will prepare you seamlessly to take on key HR roles and progress in a competitive and evolving sector upon completion.
You will need exposure to relevant workplace experience in order to gather evidence that meets the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours outlined in the Professional Standard.
Maths and English Functional Skills are optional.

To be awarded the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice, learners are required to successfully complete all four mandatory core units.

In this apprenticeship, the assessment methods are designed to evaluate both the practical skills and theoretical knowledge of the apprentice. These assessments typically occur throughout the apprenticeship and may include a combination of the following methods:
1. Practical Observations
2. Knowledge Assessments
3. Assignments and Projects
4. End Point Assessment (EPA)
These assessment methods provide a well-rounded approach to ensuring that apprentices gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers, and also help employers evaluate the apprentice’s progress over time.
Within the workplace you will also gather evidence for the End-Point Assessment portfolio. Evidence can be provided through a range of sources and will be uploaded to your e-portfolio for submission.
You will meet with your Apprenticeship Assessor every 4 weeks, remotely, for approximately one hour. Curriculum sessions will take place weekly, starting in September and concluding in June/July. Each week, you’ll log in remotely for about 4 hours (excluding school holidays). These sessions are designed to help you complete your qualification, the Level 3 CIPD Diploma.
The remainder of the time will be in the workplace building a portfolio of evidence for the End-Point Assessment portfolio.
Upon successful completion of the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship, you could go on to complete the Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeship.
