Whether you love numbers, get excited by science or appreciate the arts, we’ve got the courses to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to teach a range of learners across the Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Education and Training (Further Education) and Higher Education sectors.

Initial Teacher Education bursaries are available for eligible applicants in the subjects below for courses starting in 2022-23. Potential government policy changes may impact available funding and changes are published regularly on the government website. The bursary amounts for 2023-24 will be updated once confirmed by the government. Please note that these are on a first come, first served basis.

Mathematics - £26,000 available per person

Science (including Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) -  £26,000 available per person

Engineering (and/or manufacturing) -  £26,000 available per person

Computing - £26,000 available per person

SEN - £15,000 available per person

English (capped at 100 places nationally) - £12,000 available per person
