While studying A level Art, Media and Photography, I realised the creative ways I could use makeup and this inspired me to study my foundation degree at University Centre Leeds. I’ve learnt so many new techniques, such as body prosthetics, postiche and body painting. I particularly enjoyed creating a 1980s-inspired contemporary look in the historical and creative modules, and learning how to create dramatic impact through special effects. I would love to one day work in TV & film makeup, as the sector offers a range of skills I’d like to continue developing.
