I was first inspired to take up makeup artistry by drag queens and in 2013, I began practicing makeup within the transgender community. I enjoyed bringing contentment to those looking in the mirror and seeing the ‘wrong person’. Through my studies I’ve gained key skills like postiche, wig styling and airbrushing, and worked on documentary film ‘Made in Yorkshire’ and ‘Badges’ by Northern Film School. I look forward to completing my BA Hons degree and continuing to improve people’s outlooks on day-to-day life.
