Students on the undergraduate Health & Wellbeing and Social Care degree courses welcomed Glenda Fozzard from NHS Digital into their class.

Glenda delivered a workshop on genomics and its future in healthcare. This scientific field involves applying the techniques of genetics to personalise treatments.

The Chief Medical Officer for the NHS has just published a report indicating genomics is the future for diagnosis and treatment.
