With this course, you will develop a detailed knowledge of the dynamics of change across a range of educational contexts. You will also develop socio-political awareness, negotiating the challenges associated with changing national policy directives and institution-wide priorities. Additionally, you will learn how to formulate research priorities.

The course will facilitate the development of innovative approaches to learning and workplace training. It will encourage you to work collaboratively with external stakeholders and communities, academics, employers, and special interest groups. In addition, you’ll acquire transferable knowledge and skills and complex problem-solving strategies.

As you progress through the modules, you’ll acquire a deep understanding of education and contemporary educational policies. You’ll also gain an understanding of educational inquiry, and will choose a specialist module, ranging from special needs to education management.
